| Our squad was firmly spanked at our first sojourn to the "Fray" in 2000 and we won't soon forget the lessons learned there. As rookies we thought we were there to have fun but learned quickly the life and death atmosphere of this national event. This year promises to be different as we drop kicked the raw rookie element off the team and have settled on a group of finely tuned professional t-jetters, experts in slot related and professional fields, and just plain nice guys. | ||||||||||||||||||
| "Randy The C." Chinn. An experienced pro in the Aerospace Business (he works at Boeing), Randy is also heavily involved in the implimentation and enforcement of rules and regulations in the youth community (he's a basketball ref.) His t-jet racing experience includes being a regular at the West Seattle Speedway and Hobby's Wed. Night t-jet series and the 2000 Salem race where he actually stood at the same track with Rick Phyllis. "LiverPool Pete" Eaton. He hails from England but you would never know it to talk to him. His 1-1 scale racing experience uniquely prepares him for the "Fray" as he actually saw a race car once. It's also helpful that he is used to driving on the "wrong" side of the road. | ||||||||||||||||||

| Paul "Old Weird Hearld" Kassens. Paul publishes a lightly read e-zine about slotcars that is mainly devoted to 1/24th and 1/32 racing and modeling. Other than an occasional appearance at WSS&H Wed. Night t-jets and a recent run at Western States, he has no t-jet racing experience to speak of. We let him on the team because we hope he will publish the results in his e-zine, which would be the first update in 2 years. Now the Veterans "Tyco Bob" Seagle. A longtime HO slotcar racer, Bob is also an artist of note. You will find his work in several buildings in the Greater Seattle Area. In fact, he probably painted most of the walls and ceilings as well as much of the ductwork and exposed beams in those buildings. He also works for Gary Beedle at "ScaleAuto" and so you can expect our team to have a few "BSRT" speed secrets in our cars. He is renown for his "intense Look" at last years "Fray" where it was noted that "Normal" people raced there too. | ||||||||||||||||||

| Dave "Rockinator" Rock. An Internet journalist of some repute, "The Rockinator" is also involved in the teaching of Job skills to the Poor, Underprivileged, Drug addicted, Socially impaired, Criminal element of Seattle. (He owns a janitorial company). His t-jet racing experience includes the 2000 "Fray" and the Wed. Night T-Jet series at WSS&H. In fact that's his entire t-jet racing experience Captain, Fred "McClutch" Forrest. He is so important to this squad that he has 2 nicknames. Fred runs West Seattle Speedway Hobby & Daycare on California Avenue in West Seattle. He is such an expert in the slotcar field that people trust their children to his care while they frequent the bars of West Seattle. While at WSS&H the kids learn first hand the intricacies of slotting, such as "no running in the store" and "If you yell you have to sing the 'Barney' song". He is also quite an athlete in his own right having actually bowled a 200 game once. | ||||||||||||||||||

| Our "Ringer".By definition a "ringer" is someone beyond the expertise of the normal members of an activity. An example might be bringing in Tiger Woods to your usual Sat. fourball match. Our "ringer" is no less a prodigy in the slotcar field. Known as "theslotcarkid" he cut his slotting teeth at WSS&H, in fact the bite marks are still visible on the Hillclimb. Who is he? You'll have to wait and see. We look forward to this years "Fray" and all kidding aside we hope to have a great time. No, come to think of it, if we leave all kidding aside we probably won't have a great time. So watch out for the rubber chicken in your slot box! | ||||||||||||||||||
