| This article is to introduce a new product to HO Drag Racing. However I want to take a minute to show you guys and gals how we got restarted. Just like anything technology is a key to speed and Drag Racing is no exception. So here we go with a little history to show the growing pains and then the newest development in T-Jet's. This is the car that got me started all over again. Many years ago I did a lot of Drag Racing HO Style. Nothing like what you are going to read about in the next few minutes. This car ran a .610 E.T. at Slugger's International Drag Strip A few years later Ron Sklenar and Chris Leax brought this Galinko powered Willy's down to my house just to beat me at my own track, And he did in style. He set a new track record of 0.598 E.T. With a crowd of Astonished spectators looking on. Never have they seen a T-Jet run that fast and they were dumb founded. Ever since then each year it's like a ritual they both return and race me again. Good People come with this hobby and more and more are getting into HO Drag Racing. Now you have a very little bit of background as to the speed increases in HO Drag Racing over the years. Is it as fast as it can get? The answer is NOT AT ALL. This article is just on the Tuff-Ones or T-Jet if I may. The inline world is another story. Today we are going to stick with our favorite - T-Jets. HO-WORLD ran this article on AG&G Super Brushes a little while back. The 55 Chevy would have never ran those numbers if it hadn't been for all of those parts being developed or being specially manufactured.When you get a special part made and only one it usually cost a small fortune and magnets are no exception.Just to make sure the 55 wasn't a freak car set up, I decided to build another car to test all of the parts all over again. The results speak for themselves. This works on Drag Cars very well. With a little patience and now a smaller wallet you can build one of these little monsters yourself. They are going to be called:::::"Neo-Jets" I talked to Alan Galinko about having a Ready to Run Neo Drag Chassis with all of the above speed parts in it and he said if you guys want them he'll love to build them. So e-mail Alan if you want one already made for the track. Remember the 55 cost me near $350. These cars will be a lot less. Neo Magnets are 38 MGO (Magnetic Gauss Orstead) They are not color coded and they could break if snapped together. There is no warranty on these magnets. They will not break in packaging or shipping. Only when they are removed from the plastic cover could they be broken. The magnetic force is very strong and can pinch your skin severely. They can cause damage to a pacemaker or any other device that a magnet could damage. They are not to be used for medical reasons. | |||||||||||
